Crafted from durable Delrin and solid copper, this tool features two functional ends:

Percussion End: A 7/8” solid copper rod firmly pressed into the handle—ideal for striking and reshaping.

Pressure Flaking End: A solid copper nail secured with two set screws, fully adjustable to your preferred length for detailed flake control.
Use it directly on the gun or on the included 2" x 4" leather pad for more stability. The percussion end is perfect for trimming or reshaping flints to better fit your rifle, while the pressure flaker lets you fine-tune the edge with surgical precision.
Why copper? It’s the superior choice for working flint—hard enough to shape, yet soft enough not to cause damage or spark, making it safe to use around black powder.
