Dacite is slightly
translucent to opaque, with a medium gray to solid black coloring.
With a slightly grainier texture than the glassy obsidian, it
looks and works more like stone. This is the
best recommendation for the beginner knapper because of its
ease of workablility and little to no flaws. These spalls range
from 4-6 inches long and have been cleaned and graded. (Grade A).Skill

are whole Dacite rocks. Dacite is very clean with little to no
flaws and does not need heat treatment. Please note, we can not
see inside our rocks. If you recieve a rock of poor quality with
